The south has seen so many storms the last couple of weeks. Everything in this part of Georgia is a beautiful green, the kind that’s only here before life renewed has taken a firm hold and evolved into the deeper, richer color that stays until August. Here in Columbus, it’s almost cool, especially in the morning and early evening. Easter Sunday we sat, all day on the porch, extending a visit that normally would’ve lasted a couple of hours if we were entertaining indoors. But a porch will do that. It’s kind of like a patio with a grill, except that you are a spectator of sorts, instead of the total entertainment. Out there, under the ceiling fan,the world walks by and you’re there to see it.
